ABSTRACT:
The present study aimed to examine resilience and mindfulness among male and female Physical Education students of the University of Rajasthan. A total of 40 students (20 male and 20 female) were selected for the study. Resilience was measured using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and mindfulness was assessed through the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS). The collected data were analysed using Mean, Standard Deviation, ANOVA, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation. The findings revealed a significant difference in resilience between male and female students, whereas no significant difference was found in mindfulness. Further, a low positive but non-significant relationship was observed between resilience and mindfulness. The study highlights the importance of psychological attributes in the overall development of Physical Education students.
