ABSTRACT:
Human capital is the sum total of a person’s knowledge and skill that the company can use to future goals. After digital India and make in India the Narendra Modi Government is to launch yet another program launched earlier the skill development policy. State government has opened livelihood colleges in tribal areas to provide skill improvement training to youths according to the needs of various trade and industries. After the skill training is over, the services of the youth were utilised in a constructive way through gainful employment. The study is conducted on ‘Development of Human Capital through Prime Minister Skill Development ProgrammeWith Reference to Bhilai Nagar’ through Questionnaires and Interviews. It has proven that, “Livelihood Colleges” training programs helps every category of people and of both educated and un-educated people to improve their skills and knowledge to achieve a good job. This helps people to be independent especially to girls and women. This training program reduces un-employment. Along with training program, it also involves candidates in other activities like various games etc.
